Four chefs face a three-round culinary battle where pasta is found on every plate. They start off the carb-tastic competition by making pasta appetizers that include pea tendrils and a fatty, delicious fish. A common vegetable causes some surprising problems in the entree round. Finally, a huge, sweet surprise in the final basket gets the judges excited for dessert.

The bar for balancing flavors is set high as four chefs find sea snails and candy in the first basket. A mishap in the entree round dramatically affects one chef’s scallop dish. The two remaining competitors must then work with a dessert basket that includes something porky and something sticky.

An ingredient basket containing squab kicks off an action-packed first round in the Chopped kitchen. Cookie mix in the dessert basket seems like a breeze, but the variety of cookie mix may give the competitors pause.

The chefs gear up for difficult BASKETS when they find out that Chopped viewers have selected all their ingredients. For this trip, Guy Fieri zeroes in on Chico, California, celebrating the town’s food scene as residents and restaurant owners recover from ravaging fires that rocked the area. Guy Fieri’s budget wheel determines the ingredients for their breakfast creations, and the competitors have to shop a single aisle for hearty lunches. The chefs crunch the numbers in the final round to make their dinners, and one rises above for the chance to shop Flavortown for up to $20,000.

- Premiering Wednesday, April 10th at 9pm- “GGG Winning Teams”
Guy Fieri brings back the winning teams of previous competitions for another battle of team supremacy. First, he has them shop without carts for their surf and turf ingredients. Then, a spin of the food wheel determines which dish they must make, only to have Guy throw them a special ingredient mid-round that they must also incorporate. When all is said and done, only one team comes out on top and shops for up to $20,000.

Sports and great food are a natural combination, and that’s what’s on Guy Fieri’s mind when he invites three professional athletes to team up with some of Flavortown’s finest judges in a two-round, winner-take-all face-off for culinary supremacy. Participating in the competition is: Antonia Lofaso, Brian Malarkey, Marcel Reece, Carl Ruiz, Geoff Schwartz, and Michelle Waterson. First, the judges must help the blindfolded athletes shop for their ingredients for an elevated stadium classic, and then Guy breaks out a Flavortown favorite that has the teams bowling for ingredients for their dinners. Ultimately, only one pair knocks it out of the park and wins a shopping spree worth up to $20,000.

In the main heat, the pressure is on at the Spring Baking Championship Spelling Bee when the teams have to make colorful cream tart words that evoke spring — that need to be spelled correctly! The seven bakers put a spring spin on Southern classics, starting with the challenge of turning a can of biscuits into a spring dessert flavored with lemonade, bourbon or sweet tea. In the main heat, host Clinton Kelly asks each baker not only to give a classic Southern cake a spring makeover but also to include a Southern pantry ingredient like pickled peaches or pepper jelly. Judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman andLorraine Pascale decide which teams are on their way to sweet victory. Also featured is a surprise appearance by Southern baking expert Jason Smith.

Easter is a time for colorful desserts and marshmallow treats, so the six remaining bakers have to create an ooey-gooey marshmallow dessert in a bright Easter color. For the main heat, host Clinton Kelly asks each competitor to bake and decorate a tropical fruit-flavored dessert that looks just like an Easter bonnet for the Easter parade. Judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Lorraine Pascale determine which teams celebrated Easter in the best way.

For Earth Day, the five bakers are celebrating the bounty of Mother Nature, starting with wondrous walnut desserts featuring an assortment of flower honeys. Then, the competitors find themselves in a forest grove filled with wild berries, which they must use to flavor an enchanted forest cake with edible moss. Host Clinton Kelly oversees the action as judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Lorraine Pascale help decide which bakers move on.

Pink is the color of spring, and rosé is the perfect party wine, so host Clinton Kelly charges the four remaining bakers with making mini desserts featuring rosé and cheese. Then it’s off to the races in the spirit of the KENTUCKY DERBY as the bakers make all-pink party desserts using pink ingredients.
